  • Sara Chough

    Editor-in-Chief

    Sara is a senior in Columbia College majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior and pursuing a Special Concentration in Business Management. A New York City native, Sara is a self-proclaimed foodie who is always on the lookout for the best new restaurants and is a strong advocate of the “phone eats first” rule. She is also particularly partial to Korean cuisine and loves watching food and travel content in her spare time.

  • Alex Crow

    Managing Editor

    Alex is a junior in Columbia College studying Urban Studies and Public Health. Of course, as someone from New Jersey, Alex loves bagels and has spent the past three years trying as many different bagel shops in the city as possible. As a member of the Columbia Women’s Rowing Team, Alex is no stranger to early mornings, so along with her bagel endeavors, she is always on the hunt for a good iced coffee. In her free time, Alex loves to read and bake.

  • Mayyada Shair

    Writing & Editing Chair

    Mayyada is a sophomore in the School of Engineering and Applied Science studying Engineering Management Systems, Psychology, and Economics. As a New York native and HUGE foodie, Mayyada can be found walking all over the city, trying new restaurants, and posting them to her food account @eatswithmaymay (shameless plug).

  • Anatta Tantiwongse

    Graphics & Layout Chair

    Anatta is a fourth-year student in the Dual B.A. Program between Columbia GS and Trinity College Dublin who is majoring in the History of Art and Architecture. She spent her first two years of college living and studying in Ireland, where she learned to cook vegan/vegetarian cuisine. Dark chocolate is her fuel of choice. She is excited to be leading all things design at Columbia Eats! this term.

  • Isabella Polsfuss

    Public Relations & Social Media Chair

    Isabella is a junior in the School of Engineering and Applied Science studying Biomedical Engineering on the pre-med track. She is from San Diego, California and is a big foodie (although she admits her inability to cook anything except microwave popcorn). Her favorite dish is her mom’s homemade tacos, and she loves checking out new restaurants in the city, especially Italian and sushi spots.

  • Jakob Landis

    Finance & Funding Chair

    Jakob is a restaurant developer, owner, chef, and freelance consultant. He has been on the business end in hospitality for over seven years and has fourteen years of hospitality experience, including multiple two-Michelin-starred restaurants. Jakob has done personal and state licensing work, contracts, hiring and team building, and quantitative business management. He graduated from the Institute of Culinary Education and is currently finishing a sociology degree at Columbia University.
