Editor in Chief

Alex is a senior in Columbia College studying Urban Studies and Public Health. Of course, as someone from New Jersey, Alex loves bagels and has spent the past three years trying as many different bagel shops in the city as possible. As a member of the women’s rowing team, Alex is no stranger to early mornings, so along with her bagel endeavors, she is always on the hunt for a good iced coffee. In her free time, Alex loves to read and bake.

Managing Editor

Arpita is a senior in Columbia College studying Cognitive Science with a focus in neuroscience. Originally from San Diego, California, she discovered her passion for trying new foods at a young age and is now learning how to cook traditional Indian dishes. Arpita’s favorite meal at the moment is a spicy pad kee mao and she enjoys going on food treks to find the best vegetarian dishes the city has to offer. When she’s not eating, writing, or thinking about food, Arpita also loves hiking and the outdoors.

Mayyada is a junior in the School of Engineering and Applied Science studying Engineering Management Systems, Psychology, and Economics. As a New York native and HUGE foodie, Mayyada can be found walking all over the city, trying new restaurants, and posting them to her food account @eatswithmaymay (shameless plug).

Graphics & Layout Chair

Claire is a sophomore in Columbia College studying Cognitive Science and Visual Arts. Growing up in North Carolina, she was excited to come to New York and expose herself to all the flavors and cuisines that this city has to offer. If Claire is not editing and filming videos and photos, you will probably see her trying to find new restaurants to rate on Beli. She looks forward to many more semesters with columbiaeats!

Public Relations & Social Media Chair

Isabella is a senior in the School of Engineering and Applied Science studying Biomedical Engineering on the pre-med track. She is from San Diego, California and is a big foodie (although she admits her inability to cook anything except microwave popcorn). Her favorite dish is her mom’s homemade tacos, and she loves checking out new restaurants in the city, especially Italian and sushi spots.

Finance & Funding Chair

Sophie is a sophomore in the School of Engineering and Applied Science Studying Mechanical Engineering and Operations Research. After spending her first year of university at Purdue, she is excited to explore the food scene of the city.
